Authenticate your API

Description

The Authentication API allows users to obtain an API key by creating an account on the dashboard. However this API key will have limited access. To gain full access, you have to reach out to us. This API key is required for accessing other protected endpoints in the system. If you do not already have an account, you need to register via Darkrecon Register Page. Or you can directly reach out to us for providing you with an authenticated API Key.

Important Note

Please be aware that if you create the API Key using dashboard, you will only be able to view your API key only once after it has been generated. It is recommended to store the key in a secure vault. Alternatively, you can create a new API key at any time but for that you have to contact us. Please note that generating a new key will invalidate and remove any previously created keys. However, if you get the API key manually from us, we still recommend you to keep it safe as we do not store API key for obvious security reasons.
